Reformer 1

Fundamentals and

Introductory Exercises

16 Hours

This module introduces you to the Reformer as a central tool in studio practice. You will learn to use it safely, teach basic and intermediate exercises, and apply modifications based on each student’s profile. Pedagogical reasoning skills are developed from the very beginning.

Recommended prerequisites:

  • 20 completed Reformer classes

  • 1 year of experience teaching movement (recommended)

Reformer 2

Intermediate Exercises and Specialized Programming

16 Hours

This module expands the repertoire with more demanding exercises and safety protocols. You will learn to design classes for specific populations such as pregnancy, osteoporosis, and lower back pain, as well as to assess and correct dysfunctional movement patterns.

Requirement:

  • Completion of Reformer 1

Reformer 2

Intermediate Exercises and Specialized Programming

16 Hours

This module expands the repertoire with more demanding exercises and enhanced safety protocols. You will learn to design classes for specific populations—including pregnancy, osteoporosis, and lower back pain—as well as to assess and correct dysfunctional movement patterns.

Barrel

Advanced Exercises and Multilevel Classes

6 Hours

This module includes exercises and variations for the Spine Corrector and the Ladder Barrel—two essential tools for improving spinal mobility and strengthening the core. The Ladder Barrel is primarily used in studio settings, while the Spine Corrector is ideal for group classes due to its versatility and accessibility.

Reformer 2

Intermediate Exercises and Specialized Programming

16 Hours

This module expands the repertoire with more demanding exercises and enhanced safety protocols. You will learn to design classes for specific populations—including pregnancy, osteoporosis, and lower back pain—as well as to assess and correct dysfunctional movement patterns.

Wunda Chair

Explore the Original Wunda Chair and the Combo Chair

  • This course is designed to strengthen athletic clients and enrich group class programming. The chairs allow for upright core work and standing exercises, expanding the student’s experience in the studio. You will learn exercises, sequences, and specific variations for each type of chair.

Reformer 2

Advanced Exercises and Programming

Complete your training with advanced and super-advanced exercises. This module applies the Movement Principles system to design clear, safe, and progressive classes tailored to individual needs and studio settings.

  • Completion of Apparatus 2

Apparatus 1

Introduction to the Cadillac,

Wunda Chair, and Barrel

Explore the studio’s complementary equipment: Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and Barrel. You will learn beginner and intermediate exercises, setup and safety guidelines, and how to apply these tools in both private and group classes.

Recommended prerequisites:

  • Mat 1

  • Reformer 1

  • 20 study sessions

  • 1 year of experience in movement

Reformer 3

Advanced Exercises and Multilevel Classes

16 Hours

This module represents the highest level of Reformer training. You’ll learn progressive sequences to challenge your students and design safe, effective multilevel classes—integrating advanced skills in observation, cueing, and class planning.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Reformer 1 and 2, or equivalent training.

Reformer 2

Intermediate Exercises and Specialized Programming

16 Hours

This module expands the repertoire with more demanding exercises and safety protocols. You will learn to design classes for specific populations such as pregnancy, osteoporosis, and lower back pain, as well as to assess and correct dysfunctional movement patterns.

Complete the Mat repertoire with more demanding exercises. This module covers technical progressions, class design, and strategies for guiding intermediate and advanced sessions.

Mat 3

Props and Functional Variations

16 Hours

This module expands Mat work by incorporating the use of rings, bands, balls, and rollers. You’ll learn to integrate these props to enrich the practice, strengthen and mobilize the entire body, and design functional, dynamic, and accessible classes for all levels.


Requirements:

  • Completion of Mat 1 and Mat 2, or equivalent training

Exercises for Beginners / Intermediate Levels

16 Hours
